Falling for the Bear

spaceSennah Tate has a really fun writing style that speaks to this reader. Her narrative voice brings to mind whispered, juicy secrets shared with your best friend while splitting a bottle of chilled wine. One thing this reader really loves about Tate's creativity is her making these physically gorgeous, strong, dominant males human and oh-so-lovable by adding a vulnerability into their character. She surely does not disappoint and makes this reader fall in love, with each book she writes.
spaceIn the next - final? - installment of the Palm Haven shifter series, Reed, a bear shifter, and Monica, a witch, find one another. Like the other Palm Haven shifter books, "Falling for the Bear" is a stand-alone book that is actually part of a series. A reader could start with this book and enjoy the budding romance between Reed and Monica while learning the answers to the final arc of the Shifter Wars, because Tate includes all the information a reader needs to not feel lost. You see, the witches are the connecting factor found within these books, they all know and are friends with one another.
spaceThe attraction between Reed and Monica simply sizzle, and once again Sennah Tate has created a strong, dominant Alpha male that has vulnerabilities and makes him all the more attractive. Monica makes her appearance as a strong, dominant female that is use to taking control of situations, and her deep attraction and emotional bonding to Reed puzzles and confuses her. She was the Queen-of-One-Night-Stands, quite happily so, before meeting Reed; showing her true strength, she battled that inner fear of being with a single man exclusively and allowed herself to actually trust him, only to find that together, they are one dynamic duo. I highly recommend this book and this series for a fun, action-packed, erotic trip! ** Review originally posted to Amazon review on June 11, 2016. **
